At Goodwood Originals, most bespoke requests begin with one of our existing designs. We adapt, resize, and refine pieces so they fit your home beautifully. Here are some of the customisations we regularly offer:

  • Adjusting dimensions — making a piece taller, shorter, wider, or narrower to suit your space.

  • Adding or removing shelves — including extra tiers, lower shelves, or re‑spacing existing ones.

  • Designing around your home’s features — adapting shelves to clear skirting boards, sockets, radiators, or tricky alcoves.

  • Paint colour matching — sourcing paint to complement your existing décor; we do our best to match your chosen shade wherever possible.

  • Tweaking proportions — refining curves, depths, or profiles while keeping the spirit of the original design.

  • Small functional changes — adjusting peg layouts, adding hooks, or modifying fixings to suit your wall type.
