Welcome to Goodwood Originals.

We are independent makers based in beautiful South Wales. Our background in the antique trade inspired us to create thoughtfully made pieces with the character, quality and honesty we would be proud to have in our own home. We believe good furniture should be simple, useful and exceptionally sturdy, made to last, not to be replaced.

All of our shelves are made using traditional craftsmanship and are hand-painted to order in a carefully curated palette of 17 colours. Each piece is solidly built, finished with care, and arrives ready to hang , no flat-pack, no assembly.

Many of our customers come back to us again and again, often ordering additional shelves for new rooms or homes. We’re particularly proud that people trust us with bespoke orders, whether that’s a custom size or a colour to match an existing space. We take great care to communicate clearly and make sure every made-to-order piece feels straightforward and reassuring from start to finish.
